I guess, sometimes, amidst the rush, the happiness, the busy-ness, the laughter, the joy, the madness, the plannings, the jokes, the oglings and all, one can’t help but feel a sense of exasperation. (How appropriate that it’s Evanescence’s Immortal playing on my Media Player)

That sense which pulls one back to Earth.

That sense which causes one to realise that one, too, is vulnerable.

That sense which makes us feel, human. Again.

Yes, even if it’s someone as zany and jovial as me. I do have my off-days. Days when I lose my sense of madness and humour and just feel like creeping into a corner and brood.

Especially when some things you don’t expect comes along.

Or when things you want, have to be cast aside as a result.

Choices.

Decisions.

All of it just feels kinda… blurry at the moment.

My pre-menstrual hormones isn’t all to be blamed for causing the dismal weather surrounding me. The unpleasant feelings I need to shed together with the rather heavy matters bogging my mind.

Hopefully, the stormy weather subsides.

Cause’, I can’t wait to be the bubbly me, for myself, again.

So, today, exactly a month before the really BIG day, I decided to give out the invitation cards to my fellow colleagues. I didn’t leave out anybody. I think.

Anyways, the reaction of a senior teacher, caught me sorta off-guard.. though I should be expecting it, according to Dy.

S.T : Wahh.. so young want to get married, ah? You already 21 or not? How old are you?

Me : I’m 24 already!

S.T : Hah? But you look so young leh!

Ah well, I should bask in my youth for as long as it lasts, aye?

Gonna go get my new passport later. Only then can we confirm that short trip Dy and I booked for the day after the BIG day. *excited* Yeay!
