It’s like one of the rare Saturdays I go out without worrying about doing my weekly lesson plans. Heh. Yes, the hols are here albeit it being only a week long. =p

Anyhows, it was fun yesterday at the Sports Carnival in my school. Could see how happy and proud my big ones were when they won. And as for me, my department won the Teachers’ Race. Woohoo! Imagine that. We had to form a team of 6 and with straws in our mouths, transfer 2 rubber bands – 1 big and 1 small – to our team mates who will be waiting at a distance of 25m. It was such a thrill to win.. considering we were the Mother Tongue Department comprising of only girls.. and we won over PE. *LOL*.

Another cause for celebration would be, my boys won the S-Zone soccer tournament! Well, since most of them are really down there in terms of studies, the victory in a way does boost up their morale. Last year when they lost, I could really see how down in the dumps they were.  So, I betcha when I see them this coming Friday for the Malay cultural camp, they’ll be all-smiles.

Oh well, it’s so nice that the holidays are here. My cousin just got married today. His pelamin looked real good.. of course, considering, his bro owns a pelamin company – the same one who did mine. Hehe. So lucky. But yeaps, happy for him. It turns out he married a primary school junior of mine.  Talk about small world, huh?

I’m tired of saying this. No, there is no good news yet. I’m even having my menses right now. Alright? Tsk.

Ok, that said, it’s been a good Monday so far. No complains about today.

Dy and I went down to Sim Lim yesterday. Not for obvious computer reasons but basically because, we were gonna get a handphone for me. Yes, my Z520i has finally caved in to the abuse I have put it through. Endless hours of game-play, sms-ing and even, occasional concussions. It’s such a shame that I’ve downloaded loads of games and now, it’s gone. Sigh. Didn’t want to get it fixed cos’, well, for 1, I’ve typed in some important passwords in it. And 2, there are pictures that… ah well..

So, thanks to my baby for buying for me this: 

Though it isn’t at all the latest in the market, I don’t really care. I’m not really a person who is into handphones. In fact, I can’t be bothered with gadgets. *lol* The main thing is, my new phone was chosen and bought by Dy. Thanks, darling.

Anyhow, got loads to mark. See ya. And hopefully, the telephone line gets fixed and I get to use the internet at home today.

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

I felt bad scolding the big ones today. I let out quite a bit of steam which left me quite hot in my jacket. But somebody’s gotta do it. A little slap to their faces(not literally, of course), I hope would give them a reality check. I’ve 1 whole term turn those marks around. I hope I can.

Anyhow, that aside, I’m having a fine morning. First time I came out of HE smiling. Hehe. The kids were exceptionally quiet and well-behaved. Not their usual I-cannot-sit-because-I-have-so-much-energy-and-steam-in-my-system kinda behaviour.  Maybe it’s the weather. Whatever it is, I’ll just bask in that for as long as it lasts.

Speaking of weather, it was so hard waking up today. Nice weather for sleeping I tell ya. It didn’t help that Dy was hugging me. Haha. Made it even more cozy. Weee…
